My client, are one of the UK’s largest independently owned communication solutions providers, are looking for a Project Manager with a background in Telecoms engineering to join their team.
This business is growing and delivers a range of products and services, UK wide and have ten offices throughout the UK. However, they do take a regional approach and you will be based at the Warrington office servicing clients throughout the North-West region and throughout England and Scotland.
You will be an experienced in project management but will come with a background in telecoms engineering. looking for a telecoms engineer and be able to take on tasks from engineering surveys to formal report preparation.
In order to be considered for this Project Management role you must:
Possess excellent Project Management experience to a high level
Be able to read plans and drawings with an understanding to transpose projects and create project plans
Have the ability to coordinate with suppliers, to include line plant ordering
Be able to coordinate between internal and external teams, including sub-contractors
Ensure the project progress is in line with timelines agreed and work towards strict deadlines
Be point of contact for out of hours project calls, liaising with engineers as required
Have the ability to make recommendations and provide cost reports to customers
Be able to manage relationships with suppliers, sourcing suitable suppliers for specialist projects
Work closely with internal departments to ensure all involved in the project process are aligned to meet project deadlines and customer requirements
Ensure internal records are kept up to date in line with best practice and compliance guidelines
The successful project manager candidate will have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and strong working relationships. You will be an excellent time manager and have experience in managing all relevant documentation.
Being highly organised is second nature to you and you will be working on sites spanning England & Scotland so working evenings and weekends is something that you will be used to
