    IT Business Analyst Located London / Remote Salary to £45k + Benefits

    My client, a well-known the membership body for the legal profession are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable IT Business Analyst to join their team.

    The successful IT Business Analyst will have an excellent understanding of the Microsoft 365 platform and have experience in delivering transformation programmes. The successful IT Business Analyst will be a key coordination point between the IT Team and various business teams across the organisation.

    To be considered for the IT Business Analyst role you must


    • Have proven stakeholder management skills

    • Be able to take ownership of product and process analysis

    • Have Business case production and benefits mapping skills

    • Be able to prioritise and deliver multiple complex projects and communicate with all levels of staff and management

    • Be able to understand data and record management principles

    • Have Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) suite of business tools, especially the Office suite, SharePoint Online and Teams

    • Have experience in delivering enterprise-wide transformation programmes and be able to implement document management and/or record management systems

    • Any knowledge of SharePoint Term Stores, Azure and the M365 technology stack would be welcome as would experience of automating processes using M365 apps


    You will own the collation and documentation of business requirements for project delivery and process automations / transformations and engage closely with all areas of business to understand changing needs and assist multiple programmes. You will also have the ability to support the development of a Business Case with agreed benefits and costs as well as.

    • Conduct workshops to elicit and document business requirements.

    • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of information management and document management.

    • Translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements.

    • Conduct and analyse feasibility studies/impact assessments, regarding technology change.

    • Analyse business requirements and translate into user stories, specifications, including use case documents, system design documents and data definitions.

    • Ensure that the development team and/or vendor partners have a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.

    • Be able to conduct/facilitate acceptance tests for solutions with user community, including, development of test scenario and test scripts.

    • Develop, deliver and evaluate process and technology training and supplemental materials.


    As a self-starter you will be able to innovate and work under own initiative and be comfortable with continual change and have proven experience of being able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

    You will be a team player who will help transform the organisation's ways of working and culture as they look at changing how they manage and use their information.
